Join Our March Series Classes at Nexus Zouk!

This 4-week continuation series builds directly on the foundation you’ve developed in our January 6-week program. You’ll refine your technique, deepen your musicality, and learn how to move with purpose and ease on the social dance floor.

You’ve mastered the basics — now it’s time to connect them, control them, and let them breathe with the music. This is where technique expands into expression and comfort on the floor grows into confidence.

Foundations Track — Beyond the Basics

Ready to turn your foundations into real flow?

This 4-week progressive series is designed for dancers who want to feel more comfortable, connected, and confident on the social dance floor.

We’ll focus on smoothing out transitions, improving timing and partner communication, and developing control in movements like soltinho, io-io, boomerang, elastico, and gostozinho—so your dancing feels continuous instead of step-by-step.

You’ll be supported every step of the way in a structured, beginner-friendly environment that builds week by week. By the end of the series, you won’t just know the moves — you’ll understand how to connect them, adapt them, and dance them with ease and musicality.

Flow Track — Control, Continuity & Expression

Take your Zouk beyond individual patterns and into seamless, expressive movement.

This track is all about how your dance feels — not just what you know. We’ll train the ability to maintain continuous motion, regulate energy, and transition effortlessly between ideas so your leading or following becomes clear, comfortable, and deeply connected. You’ll develop the control that allows for softness when the music breathes and power when it expands.

By the end of the series, you’ll be able to connect everything you already know into one cohesive, fluid, and expressive dance — with movement that feels natural instead of forced.
